Dr Dong Xuecheng received his PhD from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio USA. A Scientist with the Surface Technology Group at SIMTech, his research interests includes surface treatments for light metal corrosion protection (such as anodising, electroplating, conversion coating), surface micro-structuring, electrochemical characterisation, and thin-film characterisation.

Dr Gopal Krishnan received Doctoral degree from Physics Department/National University of Singapore (NUS) and currently works as Technical Advisor and consultant supporting Scientific Research and Industry Technology Development through advanced analytical technologies and road mapping. He has published a number of research papers with colleagues and students in electronic materials science, surface science area in international journals, conference proceedings, and had travelled widely for technical presentation through his work experience at NUS Physics Department, A*STAR, and professional associations. He is/was a member of Institute of Physics (Singapore), Singapore Surface Engineering Association (SSEA/www.aseansurfin.org), MRS, AVS, ASTM, NASF, International Institute of Forecasting (USA) and SICCI. He has founded the Symposium on Surface Engineering for Industrial Applications at Singapore in 2005 with SSEA and has been the conference General Chair/Joint-Chair at Singapore, Chennai/India and Russia. He is currently chairing the upcoming second technical symposium on Micro-Solder Joint Reliability in Aug 2017, co-organised by Physics/NUS/Singapore and CALCE/UMD/USA.. He has founded the company A-IATS/Singapore (www.a-iats.com) and Surface Technologies/Chennai/INDIA,(www.microsurftech.com) and play advisory role. Dr Justin Lim is the inventor of wfMOBILE ™ which is a low-cost mobile application that enables mobile workflows to be configured and operational on mobile devices.
Dr Lim is currently a Deputy Director in the Manufacturing Productivity Technology Centre (MPTC) at the SIMTech, A*Star. MPTC promotes the use of technology to enhance manufacturing productivity by improving efficiency and effectiveness through process and technology innovation.
Dr Lim has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry in various senior IT management positions and had served as CIO for several large MNCs. He had successfully driven the global consolidation and standardisation of the IT Business processes, applications, and IT infrastructure. He had vast experience in ERP implementation, Strategic Planning and Visioning, IT Operations and Applications Management, Supply Chain Management, and IT outsourcing. He is especially interested in the effective adoption of systems technologies like clouds, mobility, analytics and social by enterprises for productivity improvement

Dr Linda Wu Yongling is a Senior Scientist and Team Lead/Manager in the Surface Technology Group of SIMTech. Her research fields cover chemical formulations, surface treatments and multi-functional coatings for different materials, nanoparticles syntheses and their surface modifications for biomedical applications, self-assembled nanostructures for surface energy control and optical applications, roll-to-roll coating technology for functional films, and materials characterisations. She holds a Bachelor degree and a Master degree in Materials Science from Tsing-Hua University, China, an MBA from University of South Australia, and PhD from Nanyang Technological University.

Dr Rama Varma Rajagopal completed his Ph.D in Chemistry from National Chemical Laboratory, Pune affiliated to University of Mumbai, Mumbai, India. After 5 years of post-doctoral research in Fluorine Chemistry at Clemson University South Carolina, USA, he joined 3M Singapore as Synthesis Chemist in 2009. His job activities focused on the support of product/application development of Fluorinated chemicals which includes Coating, Solvents, Surfactants, Gases, and Additives. Application includes, HDD, Semiconductor, General Electronics, and Electricals.
Dr Ranganathan Nagarajan received his Master of Technology degrees in Microelectronics from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (India) in 1984 and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2010. He is a Semiconductor/MEMS Industry veteran who has worked in Research and Development, Semiconductor/MEMS Manufacturing and Business Development in various capacities. His area of expertise is in CMOS, MEMS, 3DIC and Wafer Level Packaging Technologies. He is presently serving as Deputy Director of MEMS Process Integration in Globalfoundries, Singapore. He has contributed to over 80 International Conference and Journals. He has also contributed to over 30 Patents.
