Dr Gopal Krishnan received Doctoral degree from Physics Department/National University of Singapore (NUS) and currently works as Technical Advisor and consultant supporting Scientific Research and Industry Technology Development through advanced analytical technologies and road mapping. He has published a number of research papers with colleagues and students in electronic materials science, surface science area in international journals, conference proceedings, and had travelled widely for technical presentation through his work experience at NUS Physics Department, A*STAR, and professional associations. He is/was a member of Institute of Physics (Singapore), Singapore Surface Engineering Association (SSEA/www.aseansurfin.org), MRS, AVS, ASTM, NASF, International Institute of Forecasting (USA) and SICCI. He has founded the Symposium on Surface Engineering for Industrial Applications at Singapore in 2005 with SSEA and has been the conference General Chair/Joint-Chair at Singapore, Chennai/India and Russia. He is currently chairing the upcoming second technical symposium on Micro-Solder Joint Reliability in Aug 2017, co-organised by Physics/NUS/Singapore and CALCE/UMD/USA.. He has founded the company A-IATS/Singapore (www.a-iats.com) and Surface Technologies/Chennai/INDIA,(www.microsurftech.com) and play advisory role. He is also helping Megamart OE PTE Ltd (www.megamartoe.com) as Technical Director in optoelectronics project development. Dr Justin Lim is the inventor of wfMOBILE ™ which is a low-cost mobile application that enables mobile workflows to be configured and operational on mobile devices.
Dr Lim is currently a Deputy Director in the Manufacturing Productivity Technology Centre (MPTC) at the SIMTech, A*Star. MPTC promotes the use of technology to enhance manufacturing productivity by improving efficiency and effectiveness through process and technology innovation.
Dr Lim has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry in various senior IT management positions and had served as CIO for several large MNCs. He had successfully driven the global consolidation and standardisation of the IT Business processes, applications, and IT infrastructure. He had vast experience in ERP implementation, Strategic Planning and Visioning, IT Operations and Applications Management, Supply Chain Management, and IT outsourcing. He is especially interested in the effective adoption of systems technologies like clouds, mobility, analytics and social by enterprises for productivity improvement
Dr Rama Varma Rajagopal completed his Ph.D in Chemistry from National Chemical Laboratory, Pune affiliated to University of Mumbai, Mumbai, India. After 5 years of post-doctoral research in Fluorine Chemistry at Clemson University South Carolina, USA, he joined 3M Singapore as Synthesis Chemist in 2009. His job activities focused on the support of product/application development of Fluorinated chemicals which includes Coating, Solvents, Surfactants, Gases, and Additives. Application includes, HDD, Semiconductor, General Electronics, and Electricals.
Dr Shanshan Yang’s research focus is on investigating product End-of-Life (EOL) market and strategy (reuse/refurbish/remanufacture) in the Asian region and promoting sustainable production for the Factory of Future. She is also exploring the use of advanced manufacturing techniques (Laser Metal Deposition, Hybrid manufacturing, adaptive machining etc.) for parts repair and restoration, in order to increase the remanufacturing uptake across different industry sectors and prepare remanufacturing for the upcoming Industry 4.0 trend.
Dr Tok Eng Soon received his BSc (Honours in Chemistry and Physics, 1st Class) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and PhD in Semiconductor Materials at the Imperial College London, UK. He joined NUS in 1999 as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Materials Science before moving to the Department of Physics as Associate Professor in 2005.He is interested in surface science and interface analysis related to growth and fabrication of electronic materials at the nanoscale. In particular, elucidating growth kinetics and energetics occurring on surfaces and interfaces of semiconducting (Group IV-related and III-V) materials. He has published over 160 technical journal papers and given over 50 presentations at conferences and seminars within this area of research.
Mr Daniel Chang is President of Gishine Welltech Corp & Chief Technical Officer of Wah Lee Tech (Singapore) Pte Ltd. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Mr Chang has successfully built the world’s first medical waste recycling (M.W.R) facility in Taiwan since 2005. Gishine currently has the capacity to treat 30 tonnes of biohazardous waste per day and converting them into 20 tonnes of green plastics per day. Mr Chang brings to Gishine a unique and varied background spanning business, operations and investment in the environmental engineering sector across China, ASEAN & Taiwan. His rich experience in (M.W.R) over a decade has earn recognition from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as one of the future industry of development.
Mr Chang obtained Bachelor in public health management from China Medical University in 1993. He also holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering management from West Coast University and EMBA from National Chiao Tung University in 2005.

He brings with him, a wealth of private and government sector experience having worked on many high profile HF and UHF RFID projects in diversified countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Australia, India, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

Mr Gordon Chai is a visionary marketing and sales executive with exceptional in marketing strategy and product to built the high technology industry. Gordon have led, managed and optimized product and program management functions for Hiwin Singapore. More than 10 years experince in Factory Automation, Semiconductor and Building Automation. Curently are Deputy Product Manager for Linear Motor and Direct Drive Motor products in Regional SEA.
Mr Ivan Lee brings with him over 10 years of IT experience in the Logistics sector. Prior to joining GS1 Singapore, he has worked in corporate giants like ST logistics and DB Schenker, handling big projects with companies such as MINDEF and APPLE. Having graduated from Queensland University of Technology, Australia with a Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Ivan intends to fully utilize his valuable knowledge and experience from his previous stints to bring insightful new ideas to the GS1 Singapore family.
